Overview Product Description Model: RL7.5, CSH Remote Link Motor Starter, as well as other applications (see and read full description in detail below) For motor or electrical item requiring starting from distance of up to 320 foot. (distance may vary depending on interferences with walls or equipment) NOTE: IMAGES MAY SOME SLIGHT VARIATIONS TO ACTUAL PRODUCT SUCH AS SWITCHES AND LABELING / COLORS Maximum H.P. 7.5 Single Phase (NOTE: CAN BE USED FOR OTHER APPLICATIONS OTHER THAN MOTORS AS LONG ANS NOT EXCEEDING 30 AMP) Water resistant NEMA enclosure Max amperage rating 30 (220/240V) single phase IMPORTANT: THIS ITEM IS DESIGNED TO USE MODERN WIRE REQUIREMENTS OF A NEUTRAL FOR THIS DEVICE TO OPERATE. (4 WIRE SYSTEM, 2 LINES, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 GROUND) With standard hookup (no adapters to 120v)Voltage input: 220/240V single phaseVoltage output: 220/240V single phase With 120V output adapter:Voltage input: 220/240V single phaseVoltage output: 120V (MAX 20 amps) single phase With 120V input and output adapter: Voltage input: 120V single phaseVoltage output: 120V (MAX 20 AMPS) single phase Built in a Weather resistant NEMA Electrical box About this device: The CSH Remote Link is a Non fused manual “ON/OFF” switch as well as a remotely capable switching device for equipment like: Electric motors, Pumps, Lights and other electrical items. Principal of operation: 220v/240v Single phase power is applied to the “Power in” 4 prong male twist lock connector that is recessed into the unit. The load to be controlled is then connected to the 220v 4 prong female twist lock connector that is outside the unit body. With power applied, the “Power present” light should be illuminated. (The light will come on if 120v is present as well, so this doesn’t mean 220v is present) With the correct voltage for the unit applied the unit is now capable of being turned on or off from the rotary switch on the front of the panel or by remote control. Requirements: *220v/240v input- This device requires a 4 prong 220v/240v single phase twist lock plug and applicable power cord for proper 220v/240v operation. The neutral is required to operate the unit and cannot be ignored. *120v input- For 120v operation this unit requires a 220v to 120v adaptor kit to run on or deliver 120v power. The unit is capable of delivering 120v power to the load from a 220v/240v power supply if the electrical requirements as listed above are met. With the correct adaptor this unit can also run on 120v power and then deliver 120v power to the load. *This unit requires a fused power supply and proper wire gauge rated appropriately for the load being powered. · The capacities of The Remote Link are listed on the face of the unit. Things to note: · If rotary switch is in the “ON” position, the remote cannot override this selection to turn off the unit. The switch needs to be set to “OFF” in order to use the remote control.· If the remote is used to turn the unit on the rotary ON/OFF switch cannot turn the unit off, you will need to turn the unit off by the remote to then be able to use the rotary face mounted ON/OFF switch.· The “Emergency stop” button will override all controls and cut outgoing power to the load as long as button is left tripped out. To reset emergency, stop button, first be sure the rotary ON/OFF switch is turned to the “OFF” position and then turn the emergency stop button in the direction indicated on the button itself, the button will pop out. Remote information: The remote range for this unit is estimated to be 320 ft. Your results may vary depending on location and interferences. NOTE: Remotes are NOT rated waterproof! Each remote is programmable to the Remote Link and contains its own unique code allowing you to use more than one Remote Link in a location. To program a new remote contact CSH MFG. Warnings: *It is recommended that one remote be stored away for spare to avoid others starting unit other than primary operator to avoid injury. *When equipment is NOT intended to be in operation the “EMERGENCY STOP” button is to be depressed to avoid unintentional starting of connected equipment.*This unit is NOT fused. The Motor Link is only meant to be a switching device to be used on an already fused and protected circuit. Failure to fuse the load correctly can result in damage to equipment or fire! * Do NOT rely on the remotes to shut the unit off in emergency situations! * Do NOT service anything connected to the Remote Link without turning all power off and unhooking the unit from power source or accidental starting and injury may occur!* Do not tamper with wiring of the Motor Link! Such actions will void all warranties. * Unit is in a NEMA weather resistant box but can not be exposed to soaking conditions as well as being submersed. Doing so creates an electrical hazard or short out condition VERSION 1, 3-2-22 Product Videos Custom Field Product Reviews
