NOTE The swimming pool motors have a square mounting face for the pump attachment, with 4 non-threaded bolt holes to attach the pump. Motor has a threaded shaft. This type is common to most Sta-Rite, Pac Fab, Purex/Trition and WhisperFlo, Red Jacket, American Products, Sears and Challenger in ground pool pumps. (56Y motor body diameter is 1/2" larger than 48Y)

California: This replacement pump motor does not comply with California's Efficiency Regulations. These regulations can be found in Title 20, in the California Code of Regulations (CCR) sections 1601-1609. To meet California’s requirement, the replacement pump motor must be a variable speed.
New York: This replacement pump motor does not comply with New York's Efficiency Regulations. These regulations can be found at NYSERDA Section 509.23, New York is aligning with California’s Appliance Efficiency Standards (Title 20)
