Note: The D783 is a possible replacement for the K55HXPLE-5178.
The differences are as follows: The Emerson has a 1/2" X 2-1/2" shaft, Ball Bearing and comes with the capacitor. The Fasco is a Sleeve Bearing, has a 1/2" X 5.94" shaft and does not come with the capacitor. If you would like to order the capacitor you would need the 5DV.
